Match Overview

This match is built for precision rifle shooters who love the sound of steel! Competitors will engage 10–12 steel targets per stage, ranging from 150 to 500 yards, across 5 to 6 stages. Each stage is designed to challenge your accuracy, speed, and positional shooting skills — all under a 2-minute par time, except for the OG Division.


Pre-Match Schedule

0800 – Gates open

Meet at the 500 Yard Line 

0900-0915 – Zeroing period

0915 – Safety brief followed immediately by match start


Match Format

  • 5–6 stages
  • 10–12 steel targets per stage
  • Round count: 60–80 rounds
  • 2-minute par time per stage (3 minutes for OG Division)
  • Positional shooting from prone, barricades, and natural terrain


Divisions (PRS Rule Set)

While this match is not officially affiliated with the Precision Rifle Series (PRS), we follow their rule set for consistency and fairness. Divisions include:

  • Open Division – No restrictions on rifle or gear
  • Tactical Division – Limited to .308 Win or 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem with velocity caps
  • Production Division – Rifle and optic must be under PRS price caps
  • Gas Gun Division – Semi-automatic rifles only
  • Sportsman Division – For shooters not chasing national points
  • OG Division – For shooters who prefer a more relaxed pace; 3-minute par time

  • Precision rifle with optic suitable for 150–500 yard engagements
  • Bipod, rear bag, and positional support gear encouraged
  • Eye and ear protection required
