  The Club meets the first Monday of each month. The Monthly Meeting are held at the Harris Community Center, 401 N Alexander St, Belton.   Prospective new members are asked to arrive between 6 and 6:15 to fill out applications.  New member applications will be accepted at the monthly meeting from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm only. New Members will then attend a mandatory orientation starting at 6:30 pm – 7:00pm.  You must attend the entire orientation session to become a member that month.  Membership is $100 annually plus a one $25 Admin Fee for New Members.  CASH or CHECK only for Initial Membership.

Registration can be located online at https://practiscore.com/clubs/temple-gun-club or at the range the morning of the match beginning at 9:00 am. Match starts at 10 am.   If you are not familiar with NRL22, it is a great (and cheap) way to experience precision rifle shooting. You will need a 22 rifle with a scope that can help with bullet drop from 50 to 100 yards (8 inches) and parallax adjustment from 25 to 100 yards. A bipod, sling and a couple bags to help stabilize the shooting position. A simple Google search will show many websites that talk about NRL22 and explain how the match is run. The NRL22 website will also show you the main 5 stages so you can practice before the match!

   We also add extra stages for more fun and flexibility to extend shooting distances to 200 yards.

  We will closely follow the NRL22 rules and monthly course of fire but we just want everyone to come out and try shooting NRL22 and have fun. If you have a handicap and cannot get into some of the positions, we will make accommodations (OG Class). I do not care if the OG class decides to sit in a recliner and use a tri-pod for all stages! Just come shoot if you are interested.

  Registration 7AM, Shooting Starts at 8AM for this match. We will be holding a match for center fire rifles with distances out to 500 yards. We will start at 100/200 yards and work our way out to 300 and 500. You will have to demonstrate that you can put rounds on target before moving further out. Hint: It is not that hard and the RSOs/CD will help!!!!

   We will have a very relaxed format with site-in time at each distance before running the stage at that distance so you will know your gun is on target. Please look at some of the NRL22 stages (https://nrl22.org/downloads/) for an idea of what we plan to do. The same classifications will be used so there will be an OG class. If the OG class wants to use a recliner with a tripod for each stage, they can, just come have fun!

  Depending on the feed back and participation, we will continue to have this type of "match" so you can shoot the 300/500 yard lines. ok,,, we want to shoot them also ;-)

  Match round count - 60 Plus whatever you want to use for sight-in.

  Shooting the stage is not mandatory.
