If you are not familiar with 22LR Precision Rifle, it is a great (and cheap) way to experience precision rifle shooting. You will need a 22 rifle with a scope that can help with bullet drop from 50 to 100 yards (8 inches) and parallax adjustment from 25 to 100 yards. A bipod, sling and a couple bags to help stabilize the shooting position. A simple Google search will show many websites that talk about NRL22/PRS and explain how the match is run.
We also add extra stages for more fun and flexibility to extend shooting distances to 200 yards.
We will closely follow the NRL22/PRS rules and monthly course of fire but we just want everyone to come out and try shooting 22LR Precision Rifle and have fun. If you have a handicap and cannot get into some of the positions, we will make accommodations (OG Class). I do not care if the OG class decides to sit in a recliner and use a tri-pod for all stages! Just come shoot if you are interested.
Course Description -
"Church Security Firearm Fundamentals II: Advancing Defensive Marksmanship"
Building upon the foundation laid in the previous session, this course delves deeper into defensive marksmanship skills for church security teams. Participants will refine their techniques in utilizing cover and concealment effectively, mastering alternative shooting positions, and engaging targets in crowded environments with precision and confidence.
The curriculum also includes instruction on engaging multiple targets swiftly and decisively, as well as implementing a comprehensive 3D Approach to Defensive Shooting. Participants will enhance their ability to respond to evolving threats in dynamic environments, ensuring the safety and security of their congregation.

Registration 8AM, Shooting Starts at 9AM for this match. We will be holding a match for center fire rifles with distances out to 500 yards. We will start at 100/200 yards and work our way out to 300 and 500. You will have to demonstrate that you can put rounds on target before moving further out. Hint: It is not that hard and the RSOs/CD will help!!!!
We will have a very relaxed format with site-in time at each distance before running the stage at that distance so you will know your gun is on target. Please look at some of the NRL/PRS stages for an idea of what we plan to do. The same classifications will be used so there will be an OG class. If the OG class wants to use a recliner with a tripod for each stage, they can, just come have fun!
Match round count - 50 Plus whatever you want to use for sight-in.
